  image source:MacRumors After big release of IOS 17.5, apple has release its the next version i.e 17.5.1 in monday.  This new version comes with a important bug fixes.It will this update will be pushed to iPhone XS,iPhone XS plus,iPhone XR plus all model like iPhone 11, iPhone 12, iPhone 13,iPhone 14 & iPhone 15.    The update is about 315 MB, which fixes a old bug, which someone may not even know or faces in their devices.  What's new in the update     As apple describe in about the update-       This update provides important bug fixes and addresses a rare issue where photos that experienced database corruption could reappear in the photos library even if they were deleted. Apple release IOS 17.5 global version lets check why you should update on this, very new feature

   Apple has release its IOS 17.5 update globally, with some new features and improvement. In my iphone 15 i got the update today, its about 1GB. After update the version number become  IOS 17.5(21F79).This update introduces a new pride Radiance wallpaper for the Lock screen, Apple News enhancements, and other features, bug fixes and security updates for your iphone.

 Lets talk about the changes apple made in this version.



App downloads from websites (EU only):

  • iOS 17.5 now supports web-based app distribution in the European Union (EU).
  • Developers can offer their apps for download directly from their website, bypassing the app stores.
  • iPhone users within the EU can download iOS apps from supported websites without using the App Store.
  • To qualify, developers must have been a member of the Apple Developer Program for at least two consecutive years and have more than one million first installs on iOS in the previous year.
  • All apps downloaded to iPhones from websites must go through Apple's notarization process, along with a nominal 0.50 euro Core Technology fee.
  • This functionality will also be expanded to iPad later this year1.



Apple News+ Enhancements:

  • Apple News+ now features an offline mode, allowing access to the Today feed and News+ tab even without a cellular or Wi-Fi connection.
  • Additionally, a new daily word game called "Quartiles" is available exclusively to paid Apple News+ subscribers.
  • The scoreboard feature of Apple News+ puzzles includes player data for crosswords, mini crosswords, and quartiles, similar to The New York Times Gaming App1.
                                   

Third-Party Item Tracker Alerts:

  • IOS 17.5 introduces support for third-party item trackers.
  • iPhone users will receive alerts when a third-party tracker is nearby.
  • Users can disable tracking for specific items by following the instructions provided by the manufacturer.
  • This feature enhances privacy and security by preventing unwanted tracking using third-party Bluetooth devices1.

                                                    

Repair State Options:

  • iOS 17.5 includes a Repair Status option, which allows iPhones to be sent in for service without deactivating Find My and Activation Lock.
  • This streamlines the repair process while maintaining safety features1.
